Oogama / Оогама

Oogaama is a giant toad that lives in mountains. This yokai exhales rainbow energy from its mouth. Birds, animals, and even people who fall under the influence of its energy become the prey of Oogama.
I illustrated this character for the ARTMIF Japanese Mythology project.

I also created illustrations for 2 sketchbooks covers and postcard.
Seiryu is a blue dragon that guards the eastern part of the sky. And Byakko is a white tiger guarding the western part of the sky. Together these guardians keep peace on earth.
Kirin is a magical chimera-unicorn similar to dragon. It symbolizes wisdom and justice.
